A true story

No, start again, that's not the true story. It's true, but it's not the story.
Here's the story.
Yesterday afternoon I was walking down Wardour Street, on my way to Charing Cross Station, when another editor, Greg, was getting out of a taxi with his girlfriend and a friend of his girlfriend. Greg noticed me walking along the street, at which point the friend of his girlfriend pointed in my direction and near-screamed:
"Look!!! Look!!! There he is!!!!"
This puzzled Greg somewhat, since he was not aware that journalists in the insurance field had achieved such levels of fame.
Well, apparently we haven't. I just happened to be walking along the street next to Howard Donald, of Take That, and the friend of Greg's girlfriend is a fanatical enough Take That fan to actually recognize him.
