Yes, utterly tongue-in-cheek. I hate everybody. And I don't like rugby or rugger types. I suppose that I prefer nerds to jocks, to take the American vernacular, and I would rather have dinner with a fan of film than with a fan of Arsenal (or any other football team). of course, occasionally I have dinner with people who are both (and who may like rugby as well).

However, if a dislike of Big Brother, three-hour conversations about whether so-and-so is a good signing, and mega-pub-crawls on a Friday night ending up with a mass vomitorium is snobbish and naive, I probably have to pleaad guilty.
