Where is all the promised inflation?

I doubt it's going to happen. Look at Japan, they invented quantitative easing and have been in the doldrums for over 20 years but with no rampant inflation.

Maybe it has something to do with QE and the printing digital rather than physical money. But the banks unload this digital money in the stockmarket so eventually someone, somewhere is cashing stocks for cash. Probably the 1%ers who will never give it to the other 99% who would just piss it on inflationary crap in the High Street.
