Uninspired

I enjoyed the reappearance of an Iggy uber-post, which has a link to an interesting cock-up on the Full Tilt "zero -tolerance" policy. Full Tilt had to "take it back" in one case reported on 2+2, and acknowledge that the investigator in the case had "left the company".
However, it would appear that it's not just dangerous to play on FTP on another person's computer; it's also dangerous to play it on your own computer if connected to another IP system. In this particular case the guy who had his account frozen had played from the same IP address as a player involved in credit card fraud.
Unfortunately, that IP address was, by all accounts, the Sahara, Las Vegas. Whoops.
Thing is, if you are going to adopt a tough policy on fraud, it's best to have enforcers who actually understand how online poker works.

Another entertaining link from Andy Ward supplied NBC's Poker After Dark". You can watch this in "Segments", and segment two on Tuesday (I think, no poker-related access here at work) has only what can be described as an "interesting" play from Jennifer Tilly. Indeed, there were five players at the table. Phil Ivey's jaw hit the floor. Jennifer Harman looked like she had suddenly discovered a turd sitting in her pants, and Patrick Antonius just raised his eyebrows seven feet in the air.

I've just written 3,000 words of fiction. Ahh, it's nice still to have the occasional bit of spare time in the office, although in this case that spare time only arose because (a) I couldn't face the gym (b) I didn't make it to the barber and (c) I didn't do the research I really ought to have been doing, because I can do it on Sunday.
Anyhoo, Monday I'm at home, with a double-injection from the doctor at 11.30 and a visit to the dentist at 2.30 in the afternoon. Fun day. And the exander has come loose from the left upper tooth again. I must be grinding my teeth in my sellp or something.
So, now I can lok forward to going home in bright spring weather, locking the door, not leaving the house for 48 hours, and coming out to a blizzard.
God, you have to love my social life and the English weather.
