You'll be delighted to know that, according to I Write Like (), this post has been written by somebody called David Foster Wallace. Proof, but don't click there, because it's highly suspicious (http://iwl.me/s/d7939cdb).
Just for yucks, I tried out one of my other semi-anonymous posts, and got ... wait, I haven't tried it yet ... damn, what is it with blogs ... apparently I write like Arthur Clarke (http://iwl.me/s/a19b4b4).
I hope there's a C in there somewhere. I don't really want to make the sort of joke (it involved Mark Shuttleworth and alien probes) that would cause me to be confused with the postman down the road. Actually, this is fun. Let's try the opening line from The Bell Jar (Sylvia Plath): "I write like J. D. Salinger."

I can't really argue with that.
