A green contribution

I am emptying my freezer. I am then going to turn my freezer off. This achieves many objectives:

1) I can pretend that I am being environmentally friendly
2) I can play down the fact that the real reason is to cut my ever-rising electricity bill
3) By not buying frozen foods or food to be frozen, I am forced to eat fresher (and healthier) food
4) Since Tesco, which has quite a larger number of freezers than do I, is only 150 yards away, I can always pop over there to get something out of the freezer, rather than get something out of my own freezer. Although this might pose difficulties if I want to stor a just-cooked curry.
5) The walks to Tesco will be a bit more exercise.

Downsides:
Can't think of any.

I played a shedload of hands on Party today (after playing a dfair number on Stars before that). Partly because I managed to manoeuvre myself into a big down situation on both sites and it took me longer than planned to get out of it.

And this is about the closest that I've got to sharing in a bad beat jackpot in some time. I think I would have been a bit pissed off if I had been the loser here.
