OK, I've suffered the pain; now it's your turn.

Clue. My office did not look like this two hours ago

Clue B: One of my computers is now broken. On the plus side, it's the company's computer that broke. I reckon that's covered on their insurance and, if it ist it's probably covered on mine.

Oh, here's the grim horror.

I see what you mean - horrible.

There's nothing else for it - that lightshade is going to have to go....

You want to get someone in to fix that, mate.

Is that wall really painted pink?

I can laugh now, but we should be embarking on an extension in a month or so...

No mate, it's a very light beige. That's the low-res and the flash at work.

You really think it's bad enough to need to get someone in?

As for the lightshade; well I was seriously looking at a GBP 2000 chandelier in John Lewis earlier this week. How sick would I have been if that had been up there? (Seriously, the light fittings in the kitchen, landing and front room are quite nice -- the office was next on the list of upgrades).

Pete,
we wait with baited breath for the next Blog! Will be regaled by tales of workmen sucking in through teeth and copious tea consumption?
Maybe you found a Polish worker?
