unusual

Actually, there isn't that much that's unusual at the moment. We just had a near-mistral for five minutes or so outside the office, but, well, global warming and the like ... all in a day's work.

But I did see an entertainer on the low-buy in NLHE table on Virgin last night.

I was looking at the other table but, the next thing I know, three players at a tight table have bashed all their money in pre-flop. Unheard of.

The predictable AA, AA and KK were shown and, of course, a King won it on the river.

Someone asked "what are the odds"? and I made the chance of these three hands being in a full ring game, and of the Kings getting trips to win it (although not necessarily on the river) at about 1 in 240,000.

I might think of something vaguely interesting to say later. For now, the rain has stopped and I'm going home.
