Party Poker
Jan. 15th, 2008 01:01 pmCurious, is it not, that as soon as the great and the good (and some of the characters banned from Pokerstars events) turn up in Melbourne, we get a news story of "the craziest party of all time" where thousands of pounds of damage ensued when a 16-year-old threw a party at his parents' home.
Looking at all of the Friends Reunited "spin-offs", I am eagerly awaiting "Hostages Reunited", where released hostages cazn get back in touch with their captors from years before, perhaps for a chat about "the good old days".
I exchanged contracts on the flat downstairs yesterday, thus re-entering the worlds of (a) multiple ownership (b) potential landlordism and (c) chronic indebtedness. Still, all of those years of not spending poker profits might at last come in use. I can use the Citibank dollar account for spending money.
Ugh, uninspired.
