Another couple of PLO hands

Some strange goings on tonight. Ended up down $20. A few interesting hands xropped up. Here were two of them.
(Pot Limit Omaha)
dudelbwski is at seat 1 with $25.
TokayHaze is at seat 2 with $79.15.
(Button) diggs11 is at seat 3 with $4.
GiGi44 is at seat 4 with $15.
Birks is at seat 5 with $46.25.
Cariola212 is at seat 6 with $46.25.
OhioSparks is at seat 7 with $16.75.
Dyaffe is at seat 8 with $9.25.
GiGi44 posts the small blind of $.25.
Birks posts the big blind of $.50.
dudelbwski posts out of turn for $.50.
Birks: 5s 2c 5h 8c
Cariola212 folds. OhioSparks calls. Dyaffe calls. dudelbwski checks. TokayHaze calls. diggs11 calls. GiGi44 calls. Birks checks.
Flop (board: 5c 7d Ts):
Bottom set rainbow board. Not something I have a lot of experience of in this situation.
GiGi44 checks. Birks checks. OhioSparks checks. Dyaffe bets $3.50. dudelbwski folds. TokayHaze folds. diggs11 goes all-in for $3.50. GiGi44 calls. Birks raises to $21. OhioSparks folds. Dyaffe goes all-in for $8.75. GiGi44 goes all-in for $14.50. Birks is returned $6.50 (uncalled).
Well, there’s unusual. They can’t ALL be beating my bottom set.
Turn (board: 5c 7d Ts Qs):
River (board: 5c 7d Ts Qs 3d):
Showdown:
Birks shows 5s 2c 5h 8c.
Birks has 5s 5h 5c Ts Qs: three fives.
Dyaffe shows 7s Tc 7h Js.
Dyaffe has 7s 7h 7d Ts Qs: three sevens.
diggs11 shows 6d 3s 6c 4h.
diggs11 has 6d 4h 5c 7d 3d: straight, seven high.
GiGi44 shows Ks Jc Ad Kc.
GiGi44 has Ks Kc 7d Ts Qs: a pair of kings.
$2.15 is raked from a total pot of $44.75.
$.85 is raked from the main pot of $17.50.
$.75 is raked from side pot #1 of $15.75.
$.55 is raked from side pot #2 of $11.50.
diggs11 wins the main pot $16.65 with straight, seven high.
Dyaffe wins side pot #1 $15 with three sevens.
Birks wins side pot #2 $10.95 with three fives.
Pokercalc puts me on 8.7% to win the whole pot, but in a sense this is irrelevant, since there are three pots. But if we ignore the trip sevens, I am about 47.5%. So what really matters to my plus or minus EV here is whether the short stack or the big stack has the three sevens (or three tens).
In retrospect, I played ths wrong. I think that I should throw the hand away. As it was, I only lost $4 on the hand, which was a bit of a get-out.

Birks: Ac Kh Kd 4h
Dyaffe folds. BostonBill folds. dudelbwski calls. diggs11 calls. Birks calls. Cariola212 folds. OhioSparks checks.
Flop (board: 2c Kc Qc):
OhioSparks checks. dudelbwski checks. diggs11 bets $.50. Birks raises to $3.75. OhioSparks folds. dudelbwski folds. diggs11 calls.
Three clubs on board and I have top set plus stif ace of clubs, so my opponent ca’t really reraise my raise here. Unfortunately, as is the way with novices, I’m not thinking ahead. Am I going to bet the pot if the board doesn’t pair on the turn? I haven’t really thought about it. This plan should already be in my mind.
Turn (board: 2c Kc Qc 2h):
diggs11 checks. Birks checks.
If opponent has a weak flush here he isn’t calling. I want him to think that I have a flush and that the pair has me worried. If he has hit his house (or he hits it on the river) I think that I will get action on the river that I won’t get on the turn. I am not sure that this analysis is correct. Simple seems best in this game. I should bet
River (board: 2c Kc Qc 2h Qs):
diggs11 checks. Birks bets $5. diggs11 folds. Birks is returned $5 (uncalled).
Birks wins $9.30.
Oh well.
