Apr. 2nd, 2006 04:25 pmI had intended to write quite a detailed quarterly report on my poker performance, but the trials of real life and earning a proper living have got in the way. I'm putting the table together, I have the graph, and I was going to prepare another table that comkpared three-tabling with less than three-tabling.
However, that which I've researched so far hasn't really told me anything that I don't already know. My hourly rate at 2-4 is almost precisely the same as my rate at 5-10, although the former has occasionally entailed three-tabling some of the time. 2-4 at Ultimate appears to be a better bet for me than 1-2, provided that I can find three 2-4 tables, which I often can't. I've only been breaking even at the 5-10 there, but I feel that it's beatable, and it certainly generates the bonus money far more quickly.
My working week kind of starts *now* (although it finishes at about 1pm on Friday), hence the rush. It's tougher after a couple of days off because you are no longer "in the zone", so things take much longer.
