A few hours at the Flamingo yesterday covinced me either that (a) I was running staggeringly bad last weekend to lose the amount that I did over three days, or (b) within a week, I have adjusted my playing style, without even noticing that I have done so. I don't think that the latter is the case, because, although I have made some adjustments, they have been conscious ones.
Yesterday was pleasing in that I went down in both sessions for a couple of hours, carried on playing steadily, and then booked 10 big-bet wins in both four-hour sessions.
And both included one enormous suck-out by an all-in opponent. You have AK on a board of AKxx rainbow. Opponent is all-in bar $2. River, needless to say, is a 10, which kind of helps opponent's QJ. :-)
Some more pictures.

And this week's Bellagio theme is, er..... Blossom, I guess.

Plenty of style, not a great deal of cash. Surprisingly, this kind of guy will often be very loose-passive. The "gentle giant" scenario.

The new Planet Hollywood Cardroom, not yet opened. Right by the entrance. Looks good.

A view of the ground floor of Planet Hollywood from the mezzanine level.

The last remnants of the old Aladdin. The soon-to-be-demolished doors at one end of Desert Passage, now renamed "Miracle Mile".
