THis magazine arrived through the letter-box today. Clearly the circulation guys are top-notch when it comes to targeted marketing. (Non-poker players will have no idea what I am talking about, btw).

Not simply restricted to poker players. Indeed, if you replace "What" with "Want," the cover photo is eerily appropriate.

This is sheer marketing genius; which implies that the magazine is,um, content-poor.

Reminds me of my efforts to notify the "Have I got News For You" team of the existence of a magazine called "Total Carp." There is (or was) no way to do this through the BBC website -- strike one for the Beeb, as per usual -- and I'll be damned if I'm going to "network" with my old college chum Hislop.
